Loved my pleasant overnight stay on a weekend. The location was central, adjacent to the rear patio/garden, the wildlife and Pickering and Helmsley. It also was in a very unspoilt area with lots of lovely country walks.

Located in a charming village with friendly locals, this inn is perfect for those looking for a cosy and relaxing stay. Staff were accommodating and polite, rooms comfortable and beds cosy. Although some rooms may experience noise from the bar downstairs, it quietens down after 11pm. While the breakfast selection may be limited, the food served in the restaurant is of excellent quality. Dog-friendly and a great base for exploring the nearby villages and countryside. a wonderful and enjoyable experience.
